Tickled pink

For the past year, ever since we originally painted Inez’s room the bold pink that it was, she has been (vocally) wishing that it had been painted light pink. Light pink is her signature color. Even for Halloween she wants to be a skeleton with light pink bones (and I’m workin’ on it, wish me luck!).

So when she saw her room this morning, she was more than excited. And much to my surprise, I was really excited about it too. In fact, I will even go as far as to say that I LOVE it.

When I asked her how much she liked her room, this was her response.

Maybe some of her ideas aren’t so bad after all.

too bad her signature colors are not blush and bashful– you could have a bedroom hosed down in pepto bismal.

im glad the lesue house is filled with excitement! excitment and “loving it” are my two favorite emotions!
(OK, i admit it! that one was lame– i just had to get dolly in there.)

and i think you and baby mound are super cute!

    i mean pepto bismol.

and maybe i should have chosen a different word to describe your tummy. i just know that i would be annoyed if anyone compared my tummy to a hill or mountain.

I LOVE it too! I can just see her with that expression she gets when she is excited and really, really likes something. You captured it.

I love the pink too. Sammie’s room is somewhere in between the two colors that Nezzie’s room has been, but I wish it was lighter. Sammie LOVES it though, so I guess that’s all that matters. Inez is SO pretty!

Oh, by the way, I can’t believe you are making a Halloween costume. You really do have a lot on your plate. Good luck. I’m sure it will turn out darling, or I guess scary since it’s a skeleton.
