I am also a believer in swaddling. It makes the biggest differents in sleeping habits with my babies! I will have to get my hands on a copy of that book…

Thanks for the heads up! While I am VERY excited to be having another baby, I’m not looking forward to the lack of sleep and the crying baby (”I have no idea what the matter is to help you and get you to stop crying”) stage. Every little bit helps.

Stephanie recommended the same book to me before Natalie was born and I can’t say enough about it. It totally saved me, I would have had NO idea how to calm Natalie if it weren’t for that book. She was kind of a fussy one, and sometimes I had to use all five techniques at once, but it WORKED! And just so you know, the Hello Kitty blanket you gave Natalie was the perfect swaddling blanket, it was my favorite one, and she fit into it until we finally stopped swaddling her, at five months old, no joke.
