Ooooh! Ahhhh!

Coloring Easter eggs with kids always sounds like a fun idea. And for the most part, it is fun. I just think it might be something that I would enjoy doing by myself too.

Inez tried the rubber band technique. She took the rubber bands off right after she took the egg out of the dye, but it still turned out okay.

Getting dye on your hands is just inevitable. Especially if you are a three-year-old.

A Kewish family tradition, formally named, “Ooh, Ahh.” We stand around the sink (preferably a white one) and simultaneously pour the dye down the drain while saying, “Oooooh! Ahhhhh!” It’s pretty much everyone’s favorite part.

And it only takes a day or two for the dye to come off everyone’s hands.

Man, we miss these silly games. It has been particularly enjoyable to see our grandchildren are just as fun and silly as our own. ;)

u r a much better mom than me. i dont let the kids pour the dye. i do it myself, right down the middle of the drain so it doesnt make a mess. :(
