My Name is Olive

I have chubby cheeks.

I like to clap.

I like to charge towards the camera with flared nostrils.

I have a crooked smile with three teeth.

My Mom thinks that something about my little body makes me look “old” in this picture.

And I really love pulling up to just about anything.

Nine months is a good age.

Baby Girl’s First Tomato

“Freshly harvested tomatoes! I can hardly contain my excitement!”

“I hope this is better than that mushy baby food they always feed me.”

“I’m a fan of tomatoes!”

Showing her third bottom tooth. We love her snaggle-toothed goofy grin she gives us now.

And I have fun getting myself into a tight spot.

It’s a lot of fun until I fall off that little ledge and hit my forehead on the hard floor.

And I’ve discovered something beyond crawling. I get up on my knees, bounce around a little bit, and yell. Once I get there, I’m not quite sure what I should do next, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out soon enough.

Anyway, it’s really fun. I highly recommend it to all babies.

And I have been introduced to grass.

I’m a mover and a shaker. My Mom has no idea how I got here. I like to keep her on her toes. In fact, I think it’s pretty funny.

Olive at Seven Months

I love her pose here. She is constantly flexing her legs and holding her feet off the floor. If she weren’t a baby, she’d probably have abs of steel.

And I have four teeth. There are two more top teeth trying to make their way through my gums. I have to say, it’s not the best feeling and it makes me drool. I think teeth are overrated, especially when I don’t even have to chew my food at this point. But my Mommy sure does love my teethy smile. She tells me that all the time.

I also enjoy spending most of my floor time holding my legs up and spreading my toes out wide like this. I find that it really works my core.

I’m all about the teeth and the abs these days.
