Welp, she’s up on all fours and there is some serious rocking going on around these parts. She will be crawling before we know it.
Last week we attended the last Rooftop Concert Series with my sister & her husband. We were there for The Lower Lights. We didn’t stay long. It was COLD. We went out for dessert instead.
We harvested our pumpkins and gourds. It was a pretty good harvest considering the fact that the plants were almost overtaken by squash bugs early in the season, and seriously neglected by me for much of the season.
These gourds in particular took off! They look weird. Like dead birds or something.
Here’s our seven-going-on-seventeen-year old. I’ve realized that I need to take more pictures of her.
This was a pretty funny scene when I came across it. Doesn’t it look like the big horse has caught all the little pet shops doing something they shouldn’t be?
After some cold and rainy weather, the skies cleared and Timp had snow on it! I really do love living here.
Walking home after picking up Gwen from preschool, we stopped to see the ponies and llama. Does anyone else remember the Sesame Street video of the girl taking her llama to the dentist? I have two comments about this video. 1) How do they get a llama to be still for teeth cleaning? And 2) the girl singing is really passionate about the song.
Back at it. So far, I’ve lost 17 pounds, and I’ve got a lot more to go.
Miss Clara asleep in the bumbo. Did you know that rice cereal has tryptophan in it? It doesn’t.
